Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ashok Kumar Vishwakarma, who runs Gigoff (“Gigoff”, “we”, “us”), for your use of gigoff.com and the Gigoff app at app.gigoff.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you may do so. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. Keep your password and sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at ashok@t9l.com if you think someone else has used it.

Takes and payments

• Work in the Service is measured in takes. New accounts may get free takes; more can be bought as a subscription or a top-up, at the prices shown when you buy.
• Takes have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and may expire as described when you get them.
• Refunds and cancelling a plan work as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and wherever the law requires a refund.
• Prices may change; a change never affects takes you have already bought.
• Exports from accounts that have never paid may carry a “Made with Gigoff” watermark.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into the Service (prompts, scripts, uploads, brand assets) and, as between you and us, of the videos and graphics it makes for you, subject to the rights of others in any third-party material such as licensed music. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display your content only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for your content: you confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that your content and how you use the output do not break the law or anyone else’s rights.

AI-generated output

Scripts, designs, voiceovers and music are produced with AI and can contain mistakes, inaccuracies or similarities to other works. Review everything before you publish it. You are responsible for how you use the output, including checking facts, claims and any required disclosures.

Music and voices

Library music is licensed from Epidemic Sound for use in videos made with Gigoff. That licence covers the video as exported, not the track on its own: do not extract, resell or redistribute the music separately. Do not use the Service to imitate a real person’s voice without their permission.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• make content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that harasses anyone;
• deceive people, including deepfakes or impersonation presented as real, or election or health misinformation;
• infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, or upload material you have no right to use;
• break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or get around limits, takes or watermarks;
• resell or provide the Service to others as your own, or access it by automated means we have not allowed.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Our service

The Service, its software, designs and the Gigoff name and logo belong to us and our licensors; these terms do not transfer them to you. We keep improving the Service and may change or remove features. Exported files are kept for a limited time, as described in the Privacy Policy, so keep your own copies.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can. Unused takes are not refunded on termination for breach.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that output will be accurate or unique.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will compensate us for claims, losses and costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms, including claims by third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be heard by the courts in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Greater Noida), Uttar Pradesh, without taking away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
