Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
This policy explains what Ashok Kumar Vishwakarma, who runs Gigoff (“Gigoff”, “we”, “us”), collects when you use gigoff.com and the Gigoff app at app.gigoff.com (together, the “Service”), why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are the data fiduciary (controller) for the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you add them, your profile photo, company name, team size and billing details for invoices.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft. If you choose this, we receive your name, email address, profile photo and the account identifier from Google or Microsoft (the
openid, emailandprofilescopes). We ask for nothing else: no access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendar. - Your content. Prompts, links, scripts, uploaded files (images, SVGs, music, logos), brand settings, and the videos, voiceovers and graphics the Service makes for you.
- Usage and billing records. The takes you are given, buy and use, purchases and refunds, and what each piece of work cost to make.
- Technical data. Server logs (IP address, browser, time and the request made), kept to run and secure the Service. The app keeps your sign-in token in your browser’s local storage; we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To create your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
- To make, store and export your videos and graphics, which is what the Service does.
- To keep track of takes and payments, and to send invoices.
- To answer support requests and tell you about changes to the Service or these terms.
- To find and fix problems, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Google user data
When you sign in with Google we use your name, email address, profile photo and Google account identifier only to create and sign in to your Gigoff account and to show who you are inside the app. We do not share this data with anyone except the service providers that host the Service, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer or sell it. Gigoff’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google from Settings → Account at any time, or remove Gigoff’s access from your Google Account’s security settings.
Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job for us, under contract:
- Anthropic (Claude) processes your prompts, scripts and reference material to write and design your videos.
- ElevenLabs turns your script into voiceover and makes generated music.
- Epidemic Sound provides the licensed music library; it receives your music searches, not your account details.
- Cloud hosting providers run our servers and store the data described here.
- Payment processors, when you buy takes, handle your payment. We never see or store your full card details.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our users or the Service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it.
How long we keep it
- Your account and content: until you delete them or your account.
- Exported video files: up to 6 months after export, then they are deleted; you can export again while the video exists.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your account.
- Server logs: up to 90 days, unless we need them to investigate abuse.
Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your details in Settings, and delete your account from Settings → Account, which deletes your profile and content. You may also ask us to access, correct, erase or export your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to nominate someone to act for you, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where they apply to you, the GDPR or other local laws. Write to ashok@t9l.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, stored sign-in secrets are encrypted, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
The Service is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email or in the app before a significant change takes effect.
